This content is used solely to generate AI-powered story scripts and audio and is not stored beyond the duration of your session unless you explicitly save an episode to the archive.

2.2 TikTok Account Information

If you connect your TikTok account via TikTok Login Kit, we receive your TikTok open_id (an anonymous, platform-assigned identifier), your display name, and your profile avatar URL. We do not receive your TikTok password, phone number, email address, or any financial information.

We use your TikTok open_id solely to associate your Echoes Live sessions with your account and to enable TikTok LIVE integration features (such as reading comments and gift events from your live room to power the audience voting system).

2.3 TikTok LIVE Data

When you authorize Echoes Live to access your TikTok LIVE room, we may read the following data in real time:

We do not store individual commenter identities, gift sender personal information, or any audience member data. Only aggregate vote counts (e.g., "Choice 1: 47 votes") are retained for the creator's session analytics.

2.4 Automatically Collected Information

When you visit Echoes Live, our servers automatically collect standard web server logs including your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. This information is used for security, debugging, and aggregate analytics only and is not linked to your personal identity.

• Saved episode archives are retained until you delete them from the episode archive page.
• Vote session data (aggregate counts only) is retained for 30 days after the session closes.
• Server access logs are retained for 90 days.
• Live room comment and gift data is never persisted — it is processed in memory and discarded immediately after vote tallying.

All data transmitted between your browser and Echoes Live servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS 1.3. Our database is hosted on TiDB Cloud with encryption at rest enabled. We implement industry-standard security practices including access controls, regular dependency updates, and secure session management using signed JWT cookies.

No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
